People who work for New Gen have to undergo several stringent tests for qualification. A good degree of physical fitness coupled with a good sense of alertness and other relevant skills are mandatory. A certain extent of educational qualifications is also required.
The requirement of a good institute for training private security personnel was never as acute as it is today to meet the challenge of the emerging security scenario in the country.
Unfortunately professionally trained security personnel are not easy to find in the market and one has to be content with untrained or semi trained personnel who may not be able to deliver in the hour of need.

Conduct in Public and correct wearing of uniform
Physical Fitness Training
Physical security, security of assets, security of the building or appartment, Personal Security, houshold security
Fire Fighting
Examine Identification papers including identity cards, passports and smart cards
Should be able to read and understand english alphabets and arabic Numerals as normaly encountedered in the identification documents arm license travel documents, arm license, travel documents and security inspection sheet.
Identification of improvised explosive devices
First Aids
Crisis Response and Disaster management
Defensive driving ( compulsory for driver of armoured vehicle and optional for others
Handling and operations of non prohibited weapons and firearms (optional)
Rudimentary knowledge of IPC, right to private defence, procedure for lodging first information report in the police station, arms act (only operative section0, explosive Act (Operation Sections)) Badges of ranks in police and military forces
Identification of different types of arms in use in public and police use of security equipment and devices (e.g security alarms and screening equipment) Leadership and Management (for supervisors only)And many more need based as per clients requirenment.*-
